TAG Continues to Climb Black Enterprise’s National List for Service/Industrial Companies
According to Black Enterprise 100’s Annual Report on the Nation’s Largest Black-Owned Businesses – Industrial/Service Companies, TAG is one of the Top 5 companies in the country. With 2008 Annual revenues of $753 million TAG is now ranked #4 on B. E.’s list, moving up from #6 in last year’s survey.
Black Enterprise has been ranking the nation’s top black-owned businesses for 34 years. The publication develops rankings by gathering information from government agencies, professional organizations, industry associations, business information services, entrepreneurs, and corporations. Companies must be at least 51% black-owned and fully operational for the previous calendar year to qualify for inclusion on the BE 100 list.

TAG Makes Automotive News’ Top 150 Suppliers
TAG Holdings not only maintained its’ presence on Automotive News’ List of the Largest Suppliers to North America Ranked by Sales of Original Equipment Parts in 2008, but moved up 26 places to place #56, with $704 million of North American Automotive revenue.

TAG Moves up another 8 Places on Crain’s Private 200 List
With 2008 revenues aggressively growing to $753 million, TAG has been ranked #25 on Crain’s Private 200 List, moving up 8 places from last year’s ranking of #33. The strong revenue increase was due to continued robust organic growth a some of TAG portfolio companies, as well as launching a new TAG company, Indiana Assemblies in 2008.

TAG Rises to #2 on Crain’s List of Largest Black-Owned Business
TAG Holdings has moved up to #2 on the Crain’s List: Largest Black-Owned Businesses. The list recognizes the 25 largest black-owned businesses in southeastern Michigan, based on 2008 revenues. TAG moved up one place this year, from #3 in 2007, following only Bridgewater Interiors at the top of the list.
